1 air filter element
The selected air filter element must match the power, economy and reliability of the original engine.
(1) Rated air intake
The air chlorine flow in the technical parameters of the filter element shall be greater than the rated air intake of the matched engine.
(2) Filter material
There are requirements for the thickness, tension resistance, original air inlet resistance and filtration accuracy of the filter material. Imported diesel oil requires air filtration accuracy of 5 μ m. Domestic diesel engines shall also be less than 20 μ m. The filtering precision of high-efficiency filter paper is 2 μ m. Ordinary imported filter paper is 30 μ m. While the domestic filter paper is only 80 μ m.
(3) Filter element performance test
① The flow resistance (pressure drop) test measures the pressure loss of air flow (flow resistance or flow pressure chamber curve).
② The original filter efficiency test can calculate the dust collection efficiency of the filter element, and the dust reduction rate of the normal filter element should be more than 99%.
③ Dust storage capacity test and cumulative efficiency test: too much dust in the filter element will cause blockage and increase the air inlet resistance. When the engine power is reduced by 5% or the fuel consumption is increased by 5%, the intake resistance is a limit value. When this value is reached, the filter element must be cleaned or replaced. During the test, the dust accumulation weight when the air inlet resistance or pressure drop reaches 7-46kpa is the dust storage capacity of the filter element, and the filtration efficiency during the test is the cumulative efficiency.
